This month, we wanted to let one of our customers write a guest post to share a little about our work. Greg Adkins is the owner of New Frame Creative, a marketing agency in Knoxville, TN. Earlier this year, a mini-split unit in their office was damaged in a storm. Here is what Greg had to say about working with us:

“Working with Home Comfort Solutions was really a great experience from beginning to end.  When our existing Ductless Mini Split unit was destroyed due to an electrical storm, I wanted to first make sure this was the right solution for the room we were using it in.  Dylan from Home Comfort Solutions came out to our space on only 1 day notice and did a consult with us.  We discussed our goals for the space and also how our choice would impact our electrical bill and overall energy efficiency. Due to the way the room was built as an add-on to the house, we decided that keeping a mini-split in the space would be the best way to proceed.  Home Comfort Solutions provided me with quotes for two different units and both were more affordable than I was expecting (and a good bit under a quote I had received from a competitor).  I placed the order and two weeks later we had an installation date scheduled.

On the date of the installation, their team arrived on-time at 8:00 am and had the new unit installed completely before lunch.  The old unit was removed and hauled away.  I was most impressed with the way the Home Comfort Solutions team finished the work.. they paid attention to details and made sure that install on the inside looked clean and was seamless on our walls.  Since the new unit was a little smaller than the one it was replacing, we did have to touch up a spot with paint but that was quick and easy, and Home Comfort Solutions left the wall in great shape to where all we had to do was sand and paint.

Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the installation of my new ductless mini-split and would recommend the Home Comfort Solutions team to anyone looking for one of these units.  The price was great, the installation was fast, and I had no complaints about any of the work at all.  Great experience from beginning to end!”
